Installation

Up and running in three steps.

Nivo is distributed as an unsigned app — here's how to get it running on macOS.

Heads up — Nivo is an unsigned app

Nivo isn't notarized with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS will block the first launch. It's safe — you just need to allow it in System Settings the first time. Follow the steps below.

01

Download & drag to Applications

Open the DMG and drop Nivo into your Applications folder. No registration required.

02

Try to open Nivo

macOS will block it with an unidentified developer warning — that's expected. Click Done to dismiss.

03

Allow it in System Settings

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, and click "Open Anyway" next to Nivo. Confirm and you're in.
